On April 8th, the whole school, face to face students and remote learners, participated in a STEM School Challenge Day. Using only recyclable materials, students were to build a boat that floats.
Depending on their grades, students had to build a floating device with certain features: kindergarten-grade 3: The boat must be able to float with a small superhero aboard; grades 4-6 The boat must be able to float and move when wind force is applied; grades 7-8 The boat must be able to float and propel itself in the water.
Congratulations to all participants!
When reflecting on their experience building the device, all students were excited about the process, and proud of their problem solving skills. Way to go students!
Our next challenge is coming up, May 12th…Are you ready?
