EVERY CHILD MATTERS!

Our students took part in many activities during the National Truth and Reconciliation week, and participated in an informative assembly on Thursday September 29th.

Together we heard about the importance the National Truth and Reconciliation Day, and recognized all the children that never returned home and  survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.  We also learned about the meaning of the symbols behind our YCDSB Land Acknowledgement.

A big thank you goes out to Mme Jabbour, Ms. Riley and Ms. Gordon for leading the assembly with our string intermediate leaders as readers.
