The month of November will soon be upon us. Throughout this month, we will be reflecting on the virtue of justice: justice in our lives, in our communities, and all around the world.
On November 1st, we will celebrate the Feast of All Saints, or All Saints Day. On this day we celebrate all the saints of the people of God. We give thanks for the good example of the lives of the saints and all good people who are models for us of compassion, love and justice. We pray for the courage and the willingness to follow in the footsteps of the saints, today and every day.
The feast of All Souls, or All Souls Day is November 2nd. On the feast of All Souls, and throughout the month of November, we remember in a special way our relatives, friends and all the faithful departed who are in God’s great love.
Let us take a moment to recall in our hearts anyone who has died, family or friends.
May all the dearly departed members of the St. Mark CES community rest in peace.
St. Mark Parish Christmas Pageant
St. Mark’s Parish will be holding its 17th Annual Christmas Pageant and Concert on Sunday December 10th at 3:00pm!
Students from all Catholic Elementary Schools in Stouffville, including St. Mark CES, are invited to participate in the Christmas Pageant. This is a wonderful annual event, and well attended by parishioners, family and friends.
The Christmas Pageant focuses on the Nativity Story and the reason for the season – Jesus! Children perform a 30-45 minute play to tell the story of Jesus’ birth. They will dress up in costumes, sing and act. There are many roles available!
Please see the attached information / sign up sheets and online registration for interested children participants and parent/youth volunteers.
