Tomorrow is Victoria Day. This day honours the birthday of Queen Victoria and celebrates our association with the United Kingdom.
Tomorrow is also the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, celebrated each year on the Monday after Pentecost.
Today is Pentecost Sunday, which takes place 50 days after Easter Sunday. At Pentecost we celebrate how the disciples and other early Christians received the Holy Spirit. Pentecost is often called the birthday of the Church.
Let us pray that we all may be open to the Holy Spirit:
God of all,
You sent your Spirit to be with the disciples,
filling them with joy, peace and courage.
May we also be filled with your Spirit,
be brave and share your peace in our world.
Amen.
Terra Cotta Cookie Fundraiser

We are pleased to report that $2054.89 was raised through the orders placed. As previously communicated, these funds will be used to purchase technology for student use.

Thank you to parents, guardians and family members for supporting our SHAKE for SHARELIFE charity fundraiser!
We are finalizing the grand total of donations received. More information will follow in next week’s update.
Students who are to receive tickets as a result of donations made to ShareLife will receive their tickets by Thursday, May 23rd with a letter including details regarding prizes and process for entering tickets to win one or more prizes!
