This week is designated as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. Each one of us is called to follow the example of Jesus in standing up for what is right. We promote peace through our actions and are called to treat one another with kindness and respect.

God of justice,
In your wisdom you create all people in your image, without exception.
We thank you for the dignity, beauty and worth you give to each one of us.
We thank you for making us your brothers and sisters in the same human family.
Open the hearts of all people.
Free us of attitudes, behaviours and words that do not show love and respect for others.
Strengthen us to find ways to heal wounds, build bridges, forgive and be forgiven,
and establish peace and equality for all in our community.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
Halloween Fundraiser
Thank you to all families who supported our Halloween fundraiser through the purchase of glow accessories and snacks. We raised 972.58! The funds raised for this school-based fundraising initiative will be used for the purchase of technology. Well done St. Mark Lions!
Christmas Sweet Treats Charity Fundraiser

Next week, our Luke 4:18 committee will sell Christmas candy and chocolate treats in support of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP). These special treats – perfect for stocking stuffers for children and special gifts for friends and co-workers – will be available for purchase via School-Day from November 24th to December 7th. All proceeds from the sale of these candy and chocolate treats will be donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – St. Mark Parish Conference.

Closing Prayer
Let us close with this Prayer for Justice…
Grant us, Lord God, a vision of your world as your love would have it:
a world where the weak are protected, and none go hungry or poor;
a world where the riches of creation are shared, and everyone can enjoy them;
a world where different races and cultures live in harmony and mutual respect;
a world where peace is built with justice, and justice is guided by love.
Give us the inspiration and courage to build it, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
St. Mark, pray for us.
Wishing you a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
C. Quadrini, Principal
