Today is Father’s Day. We reflect today on ways to say thank you, not only to fathers but to all of the important people who have been a father figure or played a fathering role in our lives: step dads, foster dads, uncles, grandfathers, cousins, teachers, neighbours or friends.
Heavenly Father,
You entrusted your Son Jesus, the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.
Bless all fathers as they care for their families.
give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience;
Support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to You for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Athletics
Congratulations to our Junior Track and Field team who placed 3rd overall, along with many top ranking individual results, during last week’s Area Finals at St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS. Well done LIONS!!
Congratulations to our Junior Boys Soccer team who won the Indoor 6v6 Boys Junior Soccer Tournament at Markham Done last week! Congratulations to our Junior Girls Soccer team who put forth an awesome effort and overall great performance. GO LIONS!!
Kindergarten Registration
Don’t forget, the 2026-2027 Kindergarten registration at the York Catholic District School Board is open! We invite you to share this information with friends and family who have children of Kindergarten age in our St. Mark CES community.

– Last day of school!
– Report cards available via the Parent Portal at 4:00pm; hard copies of report cards will be sent home with students
